After hurricane Ian flooded our house we discovered wood floors underneath the carpet that a previous owner had placed down. We contacted knights to see if they could be refinished . Joshua came out and gave us an estimate once he verified that he could in fact resurface the floors. Gabriel the refinisher was punctual , and very friendly . Charles is a classic gentleman who runs a classy business. He personally came to our house to do the inspections and discuss what our options were. His knowledge about wood flooring and his experiences living on all kinds of woods and finishes helped us tremendously. Recommended by Angela Neel Interiors, we didn't look elsewhere for a quote. But his quote seemed fair and reasonable. We have original red oak from 1950 but had to replace sections and transitions with newer pieces. His guy came out and worked all day to get the new to match, line up, and transition perfectly with the old wood. Then another crew led by Jose came out later to finish. Jose did an amazing job of matching the new, naturally redder planks with the aged flooring. If I didn't know where the old and new sections were beforehand, it would be hard to even notice! Excellent quality and excellent experience! Will definitely be returning for future projects. 100% recommended! - Alex Payne

Our experience with Knight Flooring was terrible. First, we moved all of the small stuff and electronics from two bedrooms that were getting new carpeting. After doing so, Knight wanted to change the date of installation. We agreed to a day later. Then they wanted to delay it further. No way. So, installers came to our home begrudgingly. Yes, the street in front of our home was torn up due to the city laying new drainage pipes. Beyond our control. The chief installer acted as though we were asking him to work on the roof in full sun when it's 110 degrees. Talk about bad attitude. My husband and I moved furniture so that the installers could lay out and cut the carpeting. No, it wasn't ideal. But it worked. Before installation, I had complained about lumps/bumps under the old carpeting and wanted that repaired or fixed. Nobody paid any attention to that, however. So, new carpet goes down and voila! Lumps/bumps under the new carpeting remain. We instead had someone we trusted pull back the carpeting, grind down the lumps and restretch the new carpeting that Knight had installed. Yes, we are disgruntled customers. Our experience with Knight was awful, and in the end, we were unhappy not with the carpet, but with the installation and most of all the customer service.
